The VCMI Coaching Network consists of coaches throughout the Commonwealth who are encouraging, supporting and challenging the next generation of church planters.

We believe that if we are successful in meeting the challenges of our vision, VCMI will have helped usher in a movement where:

  1. New gospel communities will be starting more gospel communities on their own initiative.
  2. 600,000 new followers of Christ from all people groups being discipled to be activists for the Kingdom.
  3. An on-going system of collaboration that develops and launches new gospel communities for the next 20 to 30 years. The idea is to normalize the church planting process in the DNA of our gospel communities.
  4. VCMI is known as a leading resource of choice for effective church planting in Virginia, the US and the world. VCMI will have an ongoing attraction for church planters based upon the success and effectiveness of the movement. Success will be evidenced by:
    - A proven recruitment, training, coaching and mentoring system for church starts resulting in a high level of successful (self-supporting and multiplying) church starts.
    - 50% of BGAV churches becoming deliberately missional in their approach to church planting. Evidence of this will be seen in funding, sponsoring and otherwise supporting new evangelistic ministries.
    - A growing passion and effectiveness in evangelism throughout BGAV churches and ministries.
